CNG is sold by the kilogram and petrol by the litre, so most fuel apps either break or make you fudge the numbers. The app gives a petrol+CNG vehicle two tanks, logs each in its own unit, and shows cost per kilometre for each fuel so you can see the real saving.
Two tanks, two sets of numbers
Each CNG fill records kilograms, price per kg and odometer; each petrol fill records litres. Fuel economy is calculated separately (km/kg and km/L), as is cost per km. Switching between fuels on a trip does not break the figures because each tank is tracked against its own fills.

Questions
Can I log both CNG and petrol for the same car?
Yes. Set the vehicle's fuel type to petrol+CNG and it gets two tanks, each logged in its own unit with its own economy and cost figures.
How is CNG economy shown?
As kilometres per kilogram, calculated from the distance between full CNG fills divided by the kilograms added.
Can I compare the cost of CNG and petrol per km?
Yes. Each fill shows cost per kilometre for its fuel, so the saving from running on CNG is visible fill by fill.
